Patrice's story began about 11 years ago when she was told that she had Stage IV Breast Cancer and about 5 years to live because the cancer had already spread to her bone tissue. Luckily, that initial diagnosis of five years was wrong! She participated in multiple clinical trials. Until recently, her quality of life was excellent and she continued to work, ride horses, travel, and love on her beloved Woody (golden retriever) and Snow (black and white cat). This fall everything changed when chemotherapy was the last option as the cancer was now in her liver. After a visit to Atlanta to visit with family for the Thanksgiving Holiday, she returned to New Hampshire and the news that her liver was failing and she had about 2 months to live.
