Many of you already know but for those who have not heard I have leukemia.  I'm being treated in Marshfield at the Marshfield Clinic.  Nancy and I have been spending a lot of time in my new digs but are not suppose to touch - bad deal.

The leukemia was found during an annual check up which I think is positive.  I felt great showing no signs of the cancer and played golf two days before entering the hospital.  We hope that we caught it early but the treatment is the same.  It started with a 24 hr 7 day chemo load which I handled better than most - I was told.  Now I wait for a couple of weeks to see if the cancer cells are gone.  I'll have a bone marrow biopsy this week which could speed the process.  After that it's on to Mayo for a bone marrow transplant but that's a future post.
