Hi all, over thanksgiving I had an odd choking episode (thought it was just Christine’s dry turkey) but a few weeks later it happened again so after getting an endoscopy there was a large malignant tumor found in the lower third of my esophagus. I have since been diagnosed with esophageal cancer, but the doctors are optimistic that we caught this early. I will be doing chemo and radiation for 5 weeks then surgery to remove the tumor then recovery. We have a long aggressive journey ahead but I am so grateful for all the love and support of family and friends. Thanks for all the kind words
