Most everyone knows the details of the event that occurred Aug 28, 2014, when Pat went into the Mayo Clinic Hospotal in Scottadale, Az. for an Out-patient endoscopy/biopsy & sustained a perforation of his duodenum. When the perforation did not heal and he regained some stamina, we were directed to a surgeon at the Hoag Presbyterian Hospital in Newport Beach, Ca. whose specialty is correcting duodenal injuries.
So, we are here now & impressed with Dr. Stapfer & the staff.
The plan is to get Pat back to running marathons, skiing, golfing & enjoying retirement. He's endured a lot in 2015, yet maintained his good (?) humor, so for that I am grateful.
