Mom (Pat) was diagnosed with esophageal and stomach cancer a few weeks ago. It has been quite the shock and a lot of information to process. I/we had to figure out a way to update the masses because trying to relay information for all the people that love this woman would be a daunting feat for anyone let alone her biggest fan, me her daughter.
I won't bore everyone with the details that got us here but will update her journey as she begins the fight of her life. As anyone that knows mom, she is a tough ass woman and if anyone can do this Pat can! She can't always answer the phone or be up for talking but she's on board with this and I think it will be a fantastic way to get her messages, well wishes and prayers. This will be a work in process, I believe there are ways for people to post private messages as well as general posts but I'm not exactly sure how all that works so please bear with me or reach out.
This is her journey and story so she will be involved in what I post but more importantly a place where people can stay updated on our journey to kick this cancer to the curb!
This week is full of appointments to get her ready to begin chemo on Monday 11/15.
