Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Last Wednesday my mom was coaching parkside tennis and began to get a bad headache and did not feel quite right!  With the quick action from friends helping coach they rushed her to the hospital.  While at the hospital the decided they needed to fly her to the shock trauma unit at the university of Maryland.  They discovered that she had a brain aneurysm and she needed to have immediate surgery.  I flew over from Dallas that night and Will came the next day where we met dad!

Thursday morning my mom went into surgery for about 5 hours.  The surgeon came out and said the surgery went great!  They moved her to the icu unite afterwards.  Friday they removed the breathing tube and she has been slowly responding to commands.  It will be a long road, but mom is tough and she will fight through this.

I want to thank all my family and friends for the outpouring support and prayers.  It means the world to us!!!
