Some of you already know but for those who haven’t heard since March of 2017 I’ve been fighting something called myelodysplastic syndrome otherwise known as MDS. It’s a rare blood cancer that left untreated will turn into acute myeloid leukemia. I am currently in the Cleveland Clinic receiving Chemotherapy before I receive a Bone Marrow Transplant. I’ve had some time to process the dire parts of this with my family and I’m ready to kick MDS ass. I’m mostly determined to stay positive, talk about it, and laugh. Lots and lots of humor. Help me to stay positive by not being afraid to ask me about this. For all my determination to stay positive I’m still scared and talking helps. I also need you to help me laugh. Laughing helps anything rough in your life. Oh and one more thing, prayers and positive vibes are always welcome. My faith is being tested but I know He is with me on this journey.
