In Pam's words:
This quick message is to let you all know that I will be off the grid for a while. On February 12th I was diagnosed with leukemia and will be undergoing chemo. The first round will be 21 days and it will be all I can do to focus on my health. We will be keeping you updated throughout the process and the journey through this CaringBridge site.

So far I have had wonderful family and health care providers who have been doing great to take care of me. But things change daily if not hourly. The first step is to get me into remission after the 21-day process and then we will see where we go from there perhaps even into a stem cell transplant.

Right now I feel like I'm a little bit in mechanical mode trying to get immediate needs taken care of. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully when my health improves I'll be looking forward to seeing more visitors....
