Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. Pam has been diagnosed with Stage 4 adenocarcinoma.  This has been shocking for all of us.  She had been misdiagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis the last 3 years when it likely was cancer. A visit to the ER a few months back due to a knee injury was the event that led to a cancer diagnoses. The cancer does not have a definitive site of origin despite many biopsies and tests. The mosy proabable origin is lung cancer by process of elimination of what its not. Pam underwent radiation treatments for her shoulder and knee last month that was not much help in alleviating her pain as we were told it likely would. She is home under hospice care and keeping her pain managed. Please keep her and the family in your prayers.
