On May 9 Pam walked out of her house in her nightgown with a blanket wrapped around her looking confused and walking a little funny. Her neighbor was watering the garden and Pam was saying, "Help me, Help me". The neighbor asked if she wanted her to call 911 and she said yes. She was sent by ambulance to a medical center in Sebring where it was determined she had suffered a brain bleed stroke. She was intubated against her wishes (the docs thought she was too confused) and transferred by helicopter to Tampa General Hospital where she remains in ICU in the neurology department. As of May 11 the breathing tube has been removed and she is breathing on her own. This journey begins a new life for Pam.
