Owen suffered a small stroke on Wednesday, September 25th. He had noticed some weakness to his right hand and reluctantly went in to the hospital for an overnight stay.
Then on Sunday morning he suffered a larger, second stroke. He has spent the last 11 days at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. The stroke has affected his right side as well as his speech.
Today, October 10th, he was transferred to St Cloud Hospital CentraCare and is on the rehabilitation unit. He will now begin daily therapy which will include 3 hours of OT, PT, and speech.
We are trying to be very optimistic during this time and look forward to continuing support and prayers.
