Owen's story: At a routine 30 week ultrasound, doctors informed us that Owen had lost all fluid and there was a blockage causing damage to his kidneys. Owen was born at 36 weeks with underdeveloped lungs and kidney damage. He is currently four years old with Stage 4 end stage renal disease. During the kidney transplant evaluation on May 20th, 2021, an ultrasound was done and a tumor was found on Owen's liver. Blood work has confirmed liver cancer called hepatoblastoma. Owen will begin chemo on June 2nd, 2021.
