Oweene Stone

Thursday 5/25 I called Aunt Oweene and she said she was feeling great except for a slight stomach ache.  She said, "I actually feel pretty good".  Friday morning Diana received a call from her Mom a complaining of severe pain in the stomach.  Diana rushed Oweene to the hospital.  Friday morning the doctors provided a diagnosis of inoperable stage 4 stomach cancer.  
I first met Sister Davide when I was a couple months old and she was still a sister with the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM).   She was at my baptism at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in South Phoenix.  She held me like the most precious object in the world, that day she became my Godmother.  She has done a great job praying for me and asking angels to keep me out of harms way.  I cannot express how much I love and want only the best for my Godmother.
