Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Our Mom has always been healthy and in good health. She's ridden a motorcycle since I can remember and although she's had a hard life with ups and downs as we all do, she's kept her sense of humor and hope. Hope is what is providing her with strength through Jesus Christ and hope will prevail. Our Mom was feeling sick with pain since June, by July it worsened and she had an ER trip, then GI doctor, then ER trip that resulted in a diagnosis of Stage IV Pancreatic Metastatic Cancer. It had spread to her liver and spleen. To be healthy all of your life, hardly a cold and only minor concerns and suddenly discover this week's after retirement is just unfathomable. But our Mom will not allow anything or anyone to keep her down. She began chemo treatments today and will continue to fight this dark sickness each day with all of her will and strength through Jesus Christ. We ask for prayers and prayers and we thank you.
