I was born on January 14th at 12:28 p.m. I weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 1/4" tall! I was born at the Mother Baby Center in Minneapolis. Mommy and Daddy knew that when I was born I would need some special attention due to my lip boo boo (Bilateral Cleft Lip). What I kept hidden from them was that I had a boo boo on the roof of my mouth too (Bilateral Cleft Palate). Right after I was born I had to take a trip to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) because I was having a little bit of trouble breathing, and I needed a little sugar to;). All the people in blue suites started hooking wires up to me and poking me. I didn't like that very much. I spent my first couple days and nights there. Now I have been moved over to a much more magical place called the Infant Care Center (ICC). All the doctors here take real good care of me. They just want to make sure I get all the food I need before I get to go home! I'm doing really well now and eating a lot. Mommy and Daddy spend a ton of time here. Overall I'm doing great and hopefully will get to go home soon!
