At the age of 14 Novie was diagnosed with Leukemia. She fought cancer on and off for years as a teenager. After receiving a bone marrow transplant in 2016, Novie is in remission but she has been fighting Chronic Graft vs Host which has caused serious damage to her lungs.
Update 2022: Our sweet Novie's life was cut so tragically short on February 20, 2022. She fought so hard and for so long. We are devastated. She will forever be remembered as the silly, kind and loving young woman that she was becoming.
