In October, he injured his back opening his garage. He has since gotten an automatic door opener but has been unable to successfully seek out and implement a care plan to heal his back.

The pain increased and we have learned his heart had the tendency to drop down to 20-30 beats per minute randomly. In the middle of March, after a few days of not answering calls, a friend checked in on him. He was found malnourished, dehydrated, and not totally conscious. An ambulance took him to the hospital.

He was stabilized in a day or two and MRI showed 4 fractures in his back. He is believed to have fallen (maybe multiple times) but can not remember much of the ordeal. His short term memory can be spotty and he gets winded easier than normal. Doctors say a couple weeks of rehab and he might be able to walk on his own again.

He is focused now on drinking water and eating regularly, and working with his physical therapist to get back to living at his house.
