Norma Montgomery

This my story written by my full-time caregiver my little girl and buddy, Karen Montgomery, about my struggle to get my normal life back! I have had a disability for some time that made me weak, but one Sunday I went into the hospital and haven't come out, yet! Instead, I got worse! The Doctors say I got Sepsis or went into Septic Shock and are trying to make me better! However, many other complications have arisen as well, including emergency surgery to repair my colon and bowel and now have to wear a colostomy bag, almost died because of my low blood pressure and high rate where they had to call a code blue and shock me back to life.  Now, I have developed a different bacteria that they are treating and swelling with fluid and are having problems getting my breathing deep enough to take me off the ventilator.
