Norma Fernandez

In late January, Norma was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer.  She spent almost two weeks at Sky Ridge Hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado.  She is under the care of Dr. Kono...an oncologist at Kaiser and began chemotherapy on February 8th.   Her next chemotherapy session will be on February 28th and the third one will be approximately three weeks after that date.  Between the second and third chemotherapy session, Norma will have another upper/lower abdomen CT scan to determine how she is responding to the chemotherapy/to see if the cancer has spread to other organs.  Norma is in good spirits and as you know, is a strong Gallega!  That said...a times she tires from speaking.  Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers.
