Noreen Hogan

My mother, Noreen, has had progression of her liver condition.  She has been managing her Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis and Hepatic Encephalopathy for a long time.  Because of the effects of the liver disease on her brain, she has moments of confusion.  She had a small fall at home the other day, but it was a good reminder to us all that she needs supervision 24/7.   She is also not able to tolerate her liver medications right now, so the confusion will likely worsen.  She is also requiring oral pain meds to help with the back pain after her fall, which are adding to her confusion and lethargy.  We are looking for help to sit with my mom during the day, or stay overnight so that my father can sleep.
