Dad’s symptoms began in the beginning of May (extremely tired, acting/saying things that were a little loopy and regular headaches). After a couple of weeks, symptoms were appearing more regularly. We ruled out his sleep apnea and cardiology issues and had a CT of his brain scheduled for Monday, June 3rd, but on Saturday, June 1st, dad had a severe headache and we brought him to the Emergency Room where they did a CT scan and diagnosed him with a brain tumor. On Sunday, June 2nd, we confirmed the tumor had not metastasized and spread to other parts of the body. On Monday, June 3rd, he had a biopsy and the preliminary results showed he has a malignant brain tumor. While we are still waiting on the final pathology results, the doctors are expecting that they will show a grade IV glioblastoma, which is the most aggressive form. Dad has given his tumor the fitting name of Bullshit and we plan on putting up one hell of a fight for no more Bullshit.
