Noemi Sata Lugosi

In November of 2017 Noemi was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of uterine cancer.  She underwent a major surgery and after was deemed cancer free.  Unfortunately,  in June of 2019 during a regular check up they discovered the cancer had returned.   Surgery again was in order to remove one small tumor. To the surgeons surprise they discovered  3 tumors and removed as much as possible.  In attempts to get the remaining cancer and keep this aggressive cancer at bay a regime of chemotherapy was planned.  The chemo is planned for once a week util the month of March.  We are using this CaringBridge website to keep family and friends updated in one place.
