Noah is a strong, intelligent, vibrant, inquisitive, and creative young man who has already had to deal with a lot in his 16 years. He lost his Mom to cancer shortly after his 10th birthday. He is one of five children in our blended family consisting of Scott (dad), Brandie (step-mom), Ali (sister), Zach (step- brother), Alex (step-brother), and Ashley(step-sister). But, we don’t believe in the step labels. So, we are all simply family.  He is also a very proud Uncle to Ashley's two sons Carter (6), and Kayden (3). Because of his dedicated, unselfish and giving nature he has excelled in school, work, and in Boy Scouts. He is well liked and respected by his peers and teachers alike. He is an avid outdoors-man and loves hunting and camping.

After a brief illness he has been diagnosed with a rare disorder called Severe Aplastic Anemia, caused by PNH (Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria). Meaning, that for some reason his body has stopped making bone marrow, and his blood cells are attacking themselves. This is  a very rare condition (1-2 per million). At the time of this writing he only has 5% of his marrow left, is in need of frequent blood transfusions, is at risk of blood clots, and has an increased risk of developing Leukemia. This is very much a life threatening illness.  We are told the only cure for this disease is a bone marrow transplant.

This will be a long trek to a cure. But, we are all united in supporting Noah on this journey.   GO TEAM NOAH!!!!!
