My son Noah was diagnosed on September 15th with Ewing Sarcoma of his sacrum. This is a rare type bone cancer that usually occurs in teenagers. Noah was getting ready to begin his junior year of high school and was in the top ten of his class.
In August, Noah started having pain and went through 2 bone biopsies before confirming his diagnosis. Then he went through 2 more biopsies of just his bone marrow as well has having his port placed.
He has completed 2 rounds of Chemotherapy. After his second round, Noah developed Pneumonia. He will recieve 5 chemo meds a month and will stay a minimum of 9 days a month in the hospital every month. His chemo rounds occcur other week and with the is type of Cancer you go at it hard and fast.
We are having the 3rd round of chemo this coming Monday. He has 12 more rounds of Chemo to go with 6 weeks of radiation, and possible surgery.
Noah is very strong in his battle verses Cancer. He is loved by everyone who knows him. Please pray for him and we will continue to update as Noah journey continues.
