Noah is our sweet baby who was admitted into Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh the morning of January 5th, 2017 after a GI appointment due to vomiting. After receiving fluids for hours to help rehydrate and regain strength the GI team decided to consult with the neurology team due to lack of progress. They immediately ordered a CT scan and when arriving back to our room from the scan an ICU doctor was waiting to give us the horrifying news that the scan showed a mass on Noah's brain. We were rushed to the ICU where Noah was sedated, put on a breathing tube and a shunt was placed to drain the fluid build up and relieve the pressure on his brain. After further testing, the mass was discovered to be a tumor and a plan was put in place to remove as much as safely as possible. Surgery was scheduled for January 10, 2017 with the Neurosurgeon's at Children's Hospital.
