Welcome to Nicole's CaringBridge site.


We've created it to keep friends and family updated during our journey as her native lungs failed and her rebirth with new pipes, delivered by the Big Guy upstairs and installed by our great friends at the Duke Health in Durham, NC. If you are new to the site, the blog from 6/25 is a good medical summary + might be a place to short cut start then read randomly forward from there.  For those avid, non-short cut readers in the audience, start from the original CB forum post and stick with us.  We hope you glean from our incredible and miraculous journey through to today's present.  

We appreciate your support and words of hope as encouragement from the bottom of our hearts.  We are blessed that your thoughts and prayers are all that we have the privilege to request.
