My extraordinary, loving, strong, and brave sister is having major surgery Feb 9 as part of a full on effort to fight breast cancer. Her recovery will be long and difficult at times, and I hope we can shower her with so much love and nourishment that she will be able to focus her energy on resting and healing. She is someone who, my entire life, set an example of selflessness and generosity. If we can show her even a fraction of what she's given others over the years I think she will feel blessed.
