Thank you for visiting.  Our son Nicholas was struck by a car about 8:40 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was crossing a very busy, dark street in Springfield, MO; he had just gotten off work. It was an accident. Luckily EMS was there in minutes and scooped him up and took him to the trauma center at Mercy Hospital.  He was in critical condition in the Neuro ICU.  He had lost his wallet the day before and had no ID on him so he was a John Doe for almost 24 hours. Thanks to the Springfield PD they were able to track him to Mom who was contacted about 2 pm Thursday and got to Springfield 3 hours later ....
