Nicholas Liou was born and raised in California. Growing up, he was inspired to seek a business degree at UC Berkeley by his parent's modest company. Nicholas Liou worked for PwC for four years after graduation. Nicholas Liou worked in financial services tax for the first two years of his career. These two years were critical in establishing his commercial acumen by grounding him in accounting. Following that, Nicholas Liou joined PwC's management consulting practice, where he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group. He assisted customers in conceptualizing and implementing massive cross-functional transactions by constructing narratives from data. Following a two-year tenure in mergers and acquisitions, Nicholas Liou opted to pursue an MBA in order to transfer into the technology business, where he aspires to serve as a strategic leader for global firms.
