On Thursday night/Friday morning Neil suffered a severe stroke and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He's currently on a ventilator to ensure that he can breath, as both his brain and heart recover from the incident.
He's alert at times and will make eye contact, raises his eyebrows and left hand to communicate with you. Neil has had numerous visitors and continues to respond positively to interactions with friends and family. We would like to encourage everyone to visit him as often as you wish to show your love and support. He's making incremental improvements towards a healthier state and we will keep you updated with details about his journey.
