Neil Hudd

First post: May 6, 2017

My Father, Neil Hudd was a warm hearted loving man.    He leaves behind his adoring Mum, Harween.  He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by his wife of 29 years, Angela and his loving children,  Anthony (Dorothy), Penny (Gary) and Kaitlyn.  He will be sadly missed by his grandkids Samantha, Cody, Jordan, Lily, Brandon and by his great grandkids Addisan and Greyson.

Hard work and determination characterized this strong and loving father,  grandfather,  and husband.      He was born to Reginald and Harween Hudd in Durban , South Africa  year 1946.      He started his successful career with NCR computers back in the 70's taking him down a 25 year adventure .    He rapidly moved his way up the corporate ladder honing his executive skills in  Johannesburg ,  Canada ,  Dayton  Ohio then onto  NCR Japan .     He excelled in his chosen field   , building a reputation as a problem solver with exceptional management skills.       He finished up his corporate career with Hypercom before moving on to become our Chairman at ASHPAY.      I was fortunate to work closely with him for the past five years now realizing that this was his gift to me  .     Dad enjoyed boating , gardening and reading ,  completing  multiple novels in a one week period.        His other passion was cooking ,  always ready to whip up a fiery Indian curry or Jamaican oxtail  !   He also became a master at making biltong and was only to happy to share his yield with friends and family.

We had an outpour of condolences from every part of the world .    All stunned by his sudden passing.    His sister Delene and family in Australia .    All of the family on the VanRooyen side in the UK and South Africa .      The Holtzhausen Family who have been such a great help with his Mother in South Africa.   All of his friends at Muller and ASHPAY .      His friends in Boston along with the members  at The Walnut Group.     His best Friend of 46 years  Brian Ellerby who was at a complete loss for words !

Neil now joins his father ,  Reginald Hudd in heaven  , both happily watching over all family and friends  !     He loved all of us and was always there  ,  ready to help !    Brandon says " Goodbye Pa,  I love you " !!!

Please feel free to post your condolences ,  thoughts and shared your experiences with this very special man !
