Thank you for visiting Nat Runge's CaringBridge site. We are using this website to keep family and friends updated in one place in hopes that communications about Nat's situation can be consolidated, so that Jen may concentrate her efforts on best supporting him and the girls. Nat was hospitalized on Sunday night, September 18, with complications stemming from a pre-existing autoimmune blood disorder called HEMOLYTIC ANEMIA that has compromised his kidneys. He is currently in the ICU at Maine Med. Please no visitors for now.
We appreciate your prayers, support and encouragement, as well as offers to help. At this time, food would be greatly appreciated. As you navigate this site, please note that there is a hyper link to a "TakeThemAMeal.com" website under the "Ways to Help" button above (then click the box that says "Take Them a Meal"). Many thanks, in advance, for signing up for food to be delivered to Jen and the girls. A "GoFundMe" account has also been set up under the "Ways to Help" button. Any donations via GoFundMe will go directly to the Runges. Honoring Nat with a "Donation to CaringBridge" (below and at the box at the top of this page) will go to CaringBridge in Nat's name. Thank you for your well-wishes, generosity, thoughts and prayers.
As Nat's status changes, the site will be updated under the "Journal" button, so please check back.
