Nate Shoemaker

On August 15, 2017 Nate was injured by falling from the waterfalls at Ramsey Park in Redwood Falls. From there he was life flighted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN where they found two collapsed lunfs in addition to a broken T5 and T6 vertabrae along with a spinal cord injury meaning he will not be able to walk again. He spent 9 days in the ICU surrounded by family and a wonderful team of medical professionals. From laying in the dirty water until his girlfriend was,able to get to him he developed pneumonia. As,of this point he is still at N. Memoraial, doing both physical and occupational therapy twice daily. For anyone who knows Nate this,alone is driving him crazy.
