Our twins were born on November 30th 2016. They were born at 35 weeks as twins tend to come early and spent a few weeks in the NICU to help with feeding.
On December 27th we rushed Nathanael to the Philip ER where to local staff did an excellent job of helping our son. He was suffering from respiratory failure upon arriving and his core temperature had dropped to 91 degrees. The staff were able to get him warmed and stable as the Rapid City Neonatal tean made their way down on the life flight.
Nate was life flighted to Rapid City Regional and put on a ventilator to assist with breathing.  The next day his brother followed suit and was brought up in the ambulance. Both boys have a couple cold viruses and pneumonia that settled in their lungsystem rather quickly.  Being preemies they had a hard time keeping body temperature.
Nelson was put on a ventilator early this morning to assist with breathing also. It seems when they go to sleep they were missing breathes.
Thanks to the staff and all the great nurses and doctors that helped both are boys are alive and fighting off these infections as hard as their little bodies can. They are fighters!!
