Hi Everyone!
This is Sue..thanks for visiting Natalie's CaringBridge site.  For those of you who aren't familiar with Natalie's history, here's a brief summary of this "miracle child":  after having two boys who were both born a week late, the last thing we expected with our third child was a preemie!!  Nat was born at 29 weeks and was a very sick baby. The docs told us she probably wouldn't live through the night, and if she did, she would have many challenges, both physically and mentally. Boy, did she prove them wrong!  Now 18 years later, Nat is a beautiful young lady with a positive attitude, a big smile, and great plans for college and her future!  We could not be more proud of her!
Unfortunately, she didn't get by totally unscathed!  She needed to have a shunt placed in her brain to help drain the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), a condition called Hydrocephalus.  As Nat's journey has unfolded over the years, we have become active volunteers in the Hydrocephalus Association and have met so many wonderful families from all over the country who share this condition.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"  Philippians 4:13.
