PRESS RELEASE MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH


On 11-4-16 at approximately 5:26am, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash on State Highway 33 near County Highway I, in the Town of Oak Grove, Dodge County WI. 
Preliminary investigation shows that Natalie R. Graff (19 years old from Beaver Dam) was westbound on State Highway 33 in a 2014 Ford Fusion. Graff admitted to falling asleep and her vehicle crossed over the center line and struck an eastbound vehicle.  The east bound vehicle was a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan being operated by Caroline S. Kikkert (41 years old from Beaver Dam).  
Kikkert was transported by EMS to Beaver Dam Community Hospital for non-life threating injuries.  Graff was also transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital with life threating injuries.  Both drivers were transferred to UW-Hospital in Madison for their injuries.  
Assisting at the scene was Juneau Fire Department, Juneau EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and DECERT.  
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
