Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. It has been a little over 2 weeks since Naomi’s stroke, and a whirlwind for our family. We appreciate all those who have reached out with support and prayers , it means so much to us. We will also use this site to keep you updated on sweet baby Harley.
On February 12, 2020, sometime in the morning Naomi survived a considerable size stroke, she was rushed to the hospital where they removed the clot out of the left side of her brain. Because of that, there’s been some damage to her brain. Thankfully the brain stem was spared, and it had not crossed the midline. Therapy started right away in the hospital. After the swelling went down , Naomi was transferred to Blogett Hospital to start her rehabilitation. The focus is to get Naomi to recognize her right side of the body.
We know Naomi is in for a long road ahead but we are comforted by God’s word in Job 23:10 “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Dan and Naomi have testified of God’s faithfulness to them, and trust him for the path that lies ahead.
