Sometime in October I had what I thought was a bug bite on my left breast. Tried everything to clear it up never thinking it was anything to worry about. In Febuary my sister (Jerrye) reminded me to tell my PA (Wendy Sharpe the  greatest) about the  place. After taking a look and asking a few questions she left the room. About five minutes she came in with a referral  for to a place called "THE ROSE" She is soo pushy :) she handed the paper to me and said I had five minutes to call and get an appointment. She had already sent a referral to them. SO the journey began, the next Monday. First day at The Rose I had a mammogram and an ultrasound. I cannot tell you how awesome this place is. The next week I had a needle biopsy and in less than a week I had an appointment with some amazing women. We sat around talking about Pagets Disease. Never have I had an experience like this. I left there with names, numbers, support, financially and emotionally and an appointment at MD Anderson in the Woodlands, my choice.  It's April 27th and I have had so many photo shoots, lost all modesty, been totally informed all along the way and never felt alone or without information. It's time for surgery in a few days and I am totally confident in  my DR. C. Reyna and her team.
