Hi, I'm Nancy Ternasky, a 62 year old woman with a passion for life, an optimism that won't quit, and a desire to make a difference. I love adventures and there is very little in life that frightens me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2013 after my annual mammogram revealed a tumor. I have been lucky enough to be cared for at City of Hope, a well known cancer center in Southern California. I love to talk, to tell stories, and take just about anything in life and turn it into an event. If I could, I'd create an invitation, plan a menu, make decorations and invite you all to my party. But since that's pretty ridiculous, I'll just invite you to read about me once in awhile. This is going to be amazing!
In March 2017, exactly four years after my initial diagnoses, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer which presented itself in my lung. Nothing about what I wrote four years ago has changed. If anything, all that I am has magnified bringing me more courage and optimism than I'd ever had before. There is no cure, but that doesn't mean there will be any less meaning found in this, my final adventure.
