Our Mom is feeling totally fine and is luckily asymptomatic but she's been recently diagnosed with an advanced form of Lung Cancer :( Both my sister and brother (Valeri and David) live in the DC area and we are BLESSED to have had connections with some of the top Oncologist in the country. Fortunately we were told today by the Radiation Oncologist we have chosen that her Thoracic Oncologist is WORLD RENOWNED in Lung Cancer and more specifically in her particular type of "C". We all continue to be awed by her positive outlook and her tenacious & silly nature. We welcome all the prayers and best wishes we can get for her. Everyone that knows her knows she is a fighter, but because she is my mom I know that she is going to need a support team behind her. With that said please post well wishes and encouragement as often as you'd like, because we all know she will be checking. We will be posting updates here so that we don't have to keep retelling things over and over again.
