Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. 
Our  beautiful, brave mother has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer that has spread to her abdomen.  She will be  having surgery tomorrow morning at the University of Iowa Hospital. They are going to remove as much of the cancer as they can.  As soon as she is strong enough she will begin chemotherapy.
