In March finally got scheduled for a mammogram. It had been 4 1/2 years since my last one. I had a suspicion that something was wrong but just wanted to do the test to put my mind at ease.
Guess my suspicion was right. First test came back with irregular results, second mammograms showed same irregularities, ultrasound confirmed there was something there in the form of an irregular shaped mass.
Biopsy done, results came back and on April 19, 2016 I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma: CANCER
