Welcome to Nancy's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 

In mid July 2016 Nancy was diagnosed with uterine cancer. On August 11th she had a hysterectomy and it was discovered that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. Her cancer was then upgraded to stage 3 grade one. After confirming with a petscan a week later, it was determined the cancer has spread ONLY to the lymph nodes and not other areas, which was a bit of good news. Nancy will need chemotherapy and radiation and will start that once she fully recovers from her surgery. We will keep you posted of upcoming appointments and her progress as we go along.
