I'm just beginning my second round with breast cancer. I was diagnosed in May of 2013 with stage 3 breast cancer and underwent chemo, radiation, and a lumpectomy. Things were looking pretty good until I started to have progressively worse hip pain. A previous injury at that site delayed a second diagnosis of metastatic cancer. In January of 2016, I finally had an MRI that clearly showed the cancer had metastasized to my pelvic and hip bones. Now the next chapter begins....
