Last year Nancy was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of uterine cancer but a rapid response by her doctors resulted in a complete removal of all cancerous material. She bravely soldiered through chemo and radiation treatments for many months and was deemed cancer free last November. But unfortunately the cancer has returned and her doctor has determined it is terminal. Nancy is scheduled to have some additional radiation treatment in August that will help reduce swelling and then will face pain and comfort management as the cancer progresses and her life storey comes to an end. Although this is not the outcome Nancy or any of us wants, Nancy is determined to end her life with joy and gratitude for a journey well traveled. And to have as much fun as possible! Visits and help with keeping her yard watered, her dog fed, and Nancy well hydrated and fed are greatly appreciated. All of us can help Nancy in this final stage of her amazing life. I have learned so much from this kind and optimistic woman as I know we all have. Let us come together and help her in this spiritual transition to the great beyond.
