Hello Wonderful Friends and Family

Thur Nov 1 I am having my right knee replaced. This means that at least for the first half of Nov I will need a lot of help. I am counting on you wonderful people to come thru for me. I am suppose to have someone here 24 hours a day for the first week after I get home from the surgery. The expectation is that I will come home on Nov 3. I plan to hire a caregiver for the nights that week but if I can get unpaid help during the day that would be super. Russ’s care has already made a freight train size hole in our savings. The care is not a big deal, mostly fetch & carry, help me maintain sanity and remind me of exercise and med schedule, oh yes and feed and litter change Buster. I should be considerably more independent after the first week but will still need help getting meals and caring for Buster for a couple of more weeks after that. There are also rides to & from appointments. I have made a spread sheet of Nov through Nov 15. If anyone can help for a few hours during that time please tell me when would work for you and I will make a schedule. I want to get this all arranged before I go to the hospital as I expect to be sub-functional (mentally as well as physically) when I get back. I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends.
