Nancy was skiing at Welch Village on Friday, January 26, 2018, when she was ejected from her skis due to wet snow and sustained a spinal cord injury due to fracturing her C4 and C5 vertebrae. She was airlifted to the Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota and had her first surgery the morning of January 27. There is a wonderful team of healthcare providers caring for her every day as she works her hardest to regain mobility in her arms and legs.
