  Jan. 16, 2018 I was Diagnosed with stage 1 invasive lobular carcinoma.  Breast cancer. Our world changed. After much testing and drs. appointments, we made the best decisions for our reality. 

  On March 27, 2018 I had a bilateral mastectomy with diep tissue reconstruction. (They used my natural tissue and blood vessels from my abdomen to reconstruct the breasts).   
 Recovery has been slow but steady and I know God has been walking this journey with my family.  
  May 17, 2018 I’m scheduled to begin chemotherapy. Again with my wonderful medical team,  we have decided this will give me the best chance at preventing future cancer, coupled with hormone therapy after that.   
2021 brought the return of cancer as stage 2. It quickly and while in treatment spread to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
  This has been not a test of faith but a comfort in knowing that God is walking through this with me and will provide all that I need.
