As you know I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in September of 2015 and began chemo for 5 months then a bilateral mastectomy then 28 rounds of radiation.  I achieved NED (no evidence of disease).  One year and 5 months later so August of 2018 I was told that I had disease progression. Now I am stage iv with cancer rampant in my skeleton and heavy in my spine and ribs also two lesions in my liver and three lymph nodes. During this time I was placed on several hormone blockers with no help. Then oral chemo's and still had progression. So now on IV chemo and it was kicking my butt. I have been hospitalized three times this year hitting all four months. The first for 8 days with intractable nausea and vomiting.  I was also diagnosed with radiation burns from my esophagus to my duodenum. I also had radiation burns on my back. I was also was diagnosed with dehydration, I couldn't eat or drink due to the radiation burns. I also was diagnosed with a pulmonary emboli and placed on blood a thinner. My admission in March was for intractable nausea and vomiting. This time I was placed on a antipsychotic that had a side effect of curing nausea. Hallelujah! I only visited for 6 days this time.  This last. Hospitalization was for 3 days and bilateral pneumonia with a pleural effusion. The pleural effusion collasped my low right lung field so they drained it and got 1200 cc. Cytology report pending. You are up to date thus far.
