Cancer, the big C word. So I have had a spot on my shoulder, have had it for years. Yes it was changing shape and size but I was not concerned. Still was not worried about it just two months ago.......and then Melissa and Kona started pushing me to see a Dr.
So on 12/19/17 I saw Dr. Green of the Kansas City Skin & Cancer Center. When Dr. Green looked at my shoulder her face expression changed, I asked her if her changed in face expression was something to worry about? Her response "I am concerned", biopsy done and sent in.
12/28/17 Dr. Green called. When I answered and Dr. Green identified herself I knew it was cancer. I am not really even sure I heard everything she said. I just remembered hearing second surgery to cut as much out as possible, biopsy to be sent in and once results are back we will know the next step.
Hold on Kona and Melissa it is going to be a wild and crazy ride the next month.
